Jacqueline Corley, APCC
Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (Registration # Pending)
Jackie believes in the power of therapy, a power that unveils itself once we begin to show our mind the care and compassion it deserves. Jackie is excited to be a part of the Kamali’i family where she can listen to client’s unique life stories. As a counselor, Jackie passionately believes each person is the expert in their own life story, and she welcomes the opportunity to walk alongside clients while they share their stories. Our experiences shape us as people, but they do not define us. Through unique therapeutic techniques, Jackie works with clients to locate strength and resilience through the telling of life stories. Jackie strives to create a safe, non-judgmental, interactive approach that invites the client to share their life journeys and approach problems in a whole new way.
Jackie’s favorite quote is “The healing gesture … is not intended to explain it away or fill in the abyss but simply to affirm that they are not alone” – Phillip Caupto.
When Jackie isn’t working, she enjoys anything creative: drawing, painting, playing piano, tattooing, DIY, and refurbishing furniture. She enjoys volunteer work at animal shelters and has taken a few fur babies home. Nothing beats enjoying an afternoon out in nature exploring off-road locations with family and pets.
